Women boxing doesn't gain the sort of recognition womens MMA does, partially because we know a female MMA fighter would beat guys, but female boxing lacks skill and finesse.

 

Oumiha has beaten Albert Selimov. Great achievement, although Selimov is ageing.
Oumiha over the last couple of years has been incredible. He has really transitioned well to 10-9 system.

Yeah Shakhsuvarly frusterated the hell out of him, clinched and then when Chebotarev would get flustered, the Azeri would unleash a combo, really ugly match but it worked for Shakhsuvarly.

 

Melikuziev was so fun to watch. Truly thudding power.

 

Melikuziev looks a strong kid at mw, think the Cuban will take the gold though.

 

Based on draws, it looks like the final will be Melikuziev vs Lopez/Alimkhanuly.
I think so too, but it would be interesting to see how Arlen Lopez matches up with Alimkhanuly aka Alan Connelly (lol). I've never seen them fight eachother before, 2013 World Champion vs 2015 World Champion.
Arlen Lopez looked to have just outclassed Melikuziev last year..would be interesting to see how he progressed.
