Yeleussinov was being an idiot. He didn't need to go to war in the final round...he has harder fights to come, he doesn't want to be depleted going into those fights. Sure, he did work better on the inside than Maestre even though it isn't his game.
AIBA boxing is different to the computerised BS it once was. The AIBA boxers just chewed the pros up and spat them out and discarded them like a used condom. This Olympics has proven that all it takes is pacing strategy and some pro quirks. Face relatively tough opposition from day 1 and you'll learn the tricks of the trade.
