As not many of the GB boxers are seeded the draw has not been kind at all to GB

49kg - galal yafai will meet the Cuban who handled him already in the round 16 - zero chance of medalling

52kg - Mohammed ali - quality boxer and got a decent draw, will get at least a bronze

56kg - qais ashfaq - top Thai fight in first bout, if he gets through that he has nikitin the Russian and if he gets through that he has conlon who has beaten him 3 times before, and that's just to get a bronze, zero chance of medaling

60kg - Joe cordina - could get to the quarter finals but would then have to face the Brazilian who beat him before , not going to beat him on home soil

64kg - pat McCormack - good fighter but has the Kazakh world youth champion in first bout and then yasniel Toledo if he wins. Wont get through

69kg - Joshua Kelly - has the Kazakh and one of the favourite to win gold in round of 16 , wont beat him

75kg - Anthony fowler - has alimkunaly the Kazakh 2013 world champion on he's first bout, he wont win. This is a good one to bet on as paddy power has fowler the fwvorite for some insane reason

81kg - buatsi got a good draw but has the Uzbek and Russian to get past, wont medal

91kg - Lawrence okolie drew savin who knocked him out in a minute in the wsb , wont medal

91kg+ + Joe Joyce - will easily get to the semis and then has two bouts to change he's medal colour, id say he will get a silver or bronze

Id say GB will get 2 medals of which colour is no idea but that's the best i see it

The worst thing is, its going to hang over his head now because of the profile of the Olympics.

When he goes pro, the commentators are going to always bring up the fact that he couldn't fight in the Olympics over failing a drug test.

The fact that it was recreational will fade into the background.

Is it certain it was a recreational drug then?
And if so, many recreational drugs are known to give stamina and unusual confidence, wich effectively makes it a PED again.

It was taken well before the Olympics so i highly doubt he would have gotten any benefit

Nope, just going off what I'm hearing, and from what Ive heard about O' Reilly, the recreational element wouldn't surprise me.

However, he could have been on horse steroids for all I know

Maybe since you know nothing you should SAY nothing.
The rush to judgement is disgraceful here. Wait till we know the whole story.....you know, the facts etc etc 👊🏿

Funny one, they seem to give the last one to Balderas, which I thought he lost...but he rightfully won the first 2 despite not being given the first...

    Long story short...right man won!

he gassed a little at the end, but even that one was very close. He clearly won the first two though.

    Balderas Jr. Looked good.
These no helmet fights are a lot better... the strategy has changed now.

Kid from Mexico fought like a bytch & got the "L" for it.

Delgado has weirdly adopted the international "hopping" style used so effectively by Europeans and Asians. The judges apparently don't want a Mexican using that style. I thought that fight was very close but the commentators bizarrely thought it was some sort of whitewash for the Italian.
