We have to wait forbthe hearing but the fact is he failed a drug test given to him by the irish olympic council, IF its recreational then can the iaba allow him to box what message is that sending to the yiung boxers in the country, I heard he took sleeping tablets and thats what showed up again NOTHING OFFICIAL but if he did then he wont be allowed box as in this case he would have to prove he took just the tablet (a very hard thing to do) the irish olympic council will decide his fate, I cannot see them having the ***** to reinstate him if there is any doubt, they have to answer to the main olympic council and wont want to seem lenient on drug use especially after the whole russian pharmacy incident,
Thought Cordina was made to look "meh" against Suarez, given the hype about him. Anthony Fowler has always looked **** when I've seen him (albeit only random bouts here and there), how has he ever managed to get the attention he has?
I always had the opinion of a pro will beat the amatuers in the olympics. But I meant pros the likes of glolovkin canelo ward kovalev crawford. if you put those pros in they would kill a guy. so just because that guy bet a pro doesn't mean pros will always lose to ams in the ams
Why would they? They'd have to fight to the amateur format, do the amateur weigh in (same day) and fight to the AIBA weight classes. Some top pros could do well in the amateur ranks but in all honesty I think most would struggle, even some of the top guys who would be facing men bigger than they usually face (due to the same day weigh in), and would have to get to speed from the off, not taking 3 or 4 rounds to get going.
