How did you guys score Conlan-Nikitin?

From what I read I was expecting a robbery, but honestly it wasn't a bad decision at all, Nikitin was bullying him.

Really? Tell me how you scored it, which rounds did Conlan win?

 

Every round mate, you could maybe only give the last to nikitin, the first round was disgraceful scoring

 

I have to watch delayed replay on nbcsports replay but it looks like from the discussions there has been more blatant cheating with impunity. Interpol needs to investigate and bring international charges.

not sure if we have international prison. if not put these sorry life forms on a uninhabited island in the middle of the pacific.

 

Nikitin pressured Conlan throughout the first round, forced him back, and outlanded him, the first was a clear Nikitin round. Please tell me how exactly did Conlan win round 1?

2 was a clear Conlan round, he busted Nikitin up pretty bad, but then Nikitin took the 3rd.

 

First two clearly, third close. I had it 3-0. I could live with 2-1 to Conlan.

At this point my main interest in the division is seeing exactly how many gifts Nikitin can be given in one tournament. Could he be the first ever boxer to lose four in a row to win gold?

 

Honestly I think the Budtee decision, and then the whole Tischenko fiasco soured a lot of the fans on the Russian fighters, Nikitin-Conlan wasn't a robbery, I think the head clash Nikitin carried from the Warawara fight also made it look like the Irishman did more than he actually did, but in reality that was a pre existing cut.

My scoring was not influenced by the cut. The first round, Nikitin displayed ineffectual aggression and was clearly outboxed by Conlan on the back foot. The second round, after the bad first round score was known, saw Conlan display effective aggression and put a very clear round in the bank. The third round was close, I had Conlan edging that one too, but I wouldn't regard giving it to Nikitin as outrageous.

Nikitin is now guaranteed a medal despite being 0-2 in two fights I didn't even have as close. He's a walking embarrassment to the tournament.

I wish the amateurs had punch stats, because Im almost positive Nikitin outlanded Conlan handily in the first round.

The fight was close, but definately not a blatant robbery, regardless of what the fans who are already sour on the Russians say, and definately not as bad as the but hurt Conlan is making it out to be.
