E. Savon I. Dychko M. Omarov These are brutal fighters with huge talent A. Joshua is seriously unlucky this tournement will be the next generation of fighter the most talented since the 1988 Olympics where Lewis, Bowe, Mercer were in. At heavy there is O. Uysk T. Mammadov J. Opetaia Huge talents
Tough draws anyway, i live in east london and today i've gone right off the Olympics, the traffic is a nightmare.
Can anybody tell me if Gilbert Choombe (Zambia) is fighting in the afternoon or the evening of Jul 31st? I can't find it by surfing.
Joshua must be on something or a GENETIC freak ! At 22 he is 18 stones with less than 10 per cent fat bigger than bodybuilders- and stands 6'6. He could well by the time he is late 20s be a 265 pound fighter big guy.
Cheers. I've found it now. That's when I (and the Zambian Mrs) will be at the Excel. He's fighting an Aussie so that will be a double bonus is he somehow manages to win. No Brits fighting that night so I'll wear my Zambia footy shirt... War Gilbert!:boxer
Joshua can bang as well, if he keeps it long he should be able to get past Savon. Big big test for Joshua though
Joshua has it rough there, Savon is 2008 World Youth champion, then he gets Zhang Zhilei who was 2008 Olympic runner up, then Dychko or Pfeifer both of who got Bronze at World Championships this year. Tough as it could have got in reality
Joshua V Savon Ogogo v Junior Castillo Martinez Evans V Ilyas Abbadi Stalker gets bye Taylor V Robson Conceicao Campbell gets bye Selby gets bye
Selby is in the harder side of the draw as well, got Kazakh, Cuban, Irish, American all on his side of the draw
