he hit the azer lad with 3 clean shots in 1 flurry. I doubt the judges gave him 3 points for it.

That was ****ing ridiculous. If I was that boxer, I would've ****ed that ref in the face. Seriously, you don't work four ****ing years and get to the Olympics to get done.

 

The judging in the last round was bizzare as well as the inept reffing.

Without the 2point penalty they would have had the last round even.

If the ref didnt keep stopping them, the Japanese lad would of knocked him out good and proper..

 

The amount of Southpaws in the Olympics really pisses me off. I doubt 3/4 of these guys are naturals.

So scrappy and uncoordinated. Not helped by refs interrupting the fight for the most pointless reasons.

That will definitely be the most memorable fight in this Olympics.

 

One round today (think it was in the 2nd afternoon Bantamweight fight), one judge had it 6-1, another judge had it 5-6. Now if 2 official judges sat next to each other can disagree over a single round to that extent, the result can't have much credibility.
