Had a great day at the boxing today. Every thing went well and was really impressed with the whole set up. Best fight and best boxer was that young 52kg cuban Freddie evans seemed well gun shy like a rabbit in head lights - the kazak was good but freddie was no where near what he done before. It was nice of him too mix with the fans at the end though Lomachenko's fight was a bit **** as the other fella was not upto much almost looked fixed Now for joshua : Joshua did well in the first round and seemed fast - i thought he had this but in the 2nd Cammarelle turned up the heat and won that easly the third i felt also Cammarelle won but the crowd was going CRAZY every time joshua landed or went close - got too say atmosphere was amazing I felt for Cammarelle as he looked as though he got shafted Wlad was there and when the joshua result was anounced got up and left only to return too have some pics taken with the olympic mascot
Glad you had a good time, Gutted i never bothered to get tickets now. Sounds like the event itself was very good. Just need to AIBA to sort out there scoring and refereeing..
I thought Joshua won the last round by a couple of points today, personally. Incredible stmosphere there as usual... boxing fan or not, everyone there had a great time.
