I've only had the chance to watch a couple of fighters but I have to say I've been really impressed by Ukraines Vasyl Lomachenko this kid has some real talent and would interested in his career if he turns pro. But my question is are there any others who have impressed and what do you think there chances will be in the pro ranks?

Cammarelle would make an exceptional pro heavyweight.

I agree he is like rocky marciano, willie pep and joe calzaghe all in one man. I dont think he wants to go pro, if he did i am certian he would be a great fighter.

I was really impressed by the 17 year old Valdez kid from Mexico who lost in the prelims due to his predominantly pro-style. He was working the body and the sides of the head pretty exclusively. I believe he was a bantamweight.

The story of this olympics is the poor judging but yea, Lomachenko will make a good pro. Probably a lot of them will turn pro this time although I don't think Cammerrelle will. If I'm not mistaken he has said in the past he's only fighting as an amateur.

I don't remember his name, but there was a young guy from Cuba in the lower-weight divisions that looked great.

Carlo Banteux maybe? He has looked good, although I thought Saunders edged him out in their bout.

camarelle holds his head to high i feel and very striaght up which will result with him getting koed one day. he needs to use his hieght and reach more i feel.

anyone see bruno julie. amazing skills just fought a gigh who wouldnt drop his hands

Khedafi Djelkhir was also very strong and has a great defence coupled with great handspeed. had the best inside fight of the whoel competition against that mexican dude

Veaceslav Gojan was punching above his wieght in terms of class and size. hope he goes pro at bantam he looks really solid and has a perfect timed right cross.

    Arturo Santos Reyes
mexican such fast hands with great technique and for an inside fighter it was a odd display. berrera and comacho in one body

the whole ghanian team impressed me.

lets not comment on how good or bad a fighter is . the point is that your looking for talent and flair. ray leonard fought like meldrick taylor but when he was a pro he turned into a far better jab mover than before. you getamadrift.
lennox lewis was a purely jab corss fighter and koed bowe with a jab if i remember. later oen a full arsenal is created.
so just think about talent and natural aspects. and i think we have a few good prospect this year.

andrade di well but to me he doesnt seem all that impressive he almost got outpointed by...oh wait he did by that 5'6 welter. a shame as i thikn he woudl of given all of the finalists a hard run for da cash

The Arroyo brothers, they look impresive with his fan favorite style great style to be a pro. The good news that they are turning pro this year both confirmed this. And Carlos Negron another puertorrican prospect will turn pro too.

I thought Picardi from Italy looked quite good. All of the Ukraninan fighters looked good. The Puerto Rican fighters looked like Cottos in the making.

ehm had who was very long and used a big right hand so that everyone of the judges knew it landed. short punches work far better in the pro than am and this kid had alot of it.
