I watched the Smith fight, it was close but really looked to me like he won the fight, much more skilled than his opponent. Taylor fight could have gone the other way as well.

Was he badly robbed? I wasn't really watching the fight today, but thought the Russian deserved to win against the French boxer yesterday.

I thought he won like, I just think the judges are biased towards the home fighter. Turkey having 7 boxers in the olympics is a joke, bet hardly any of them win a fight.

Wait all morning for Ogogo to fight and he doesn't fight. O well, he would have got robbed against the turk anyway.

Turk is winning 9-7 after two rounds so it isn't looking good for callum

Cruel twist of fate. Turkey all of a sudden becomes a world class amateur boxing nation

Joke, AIBA are corrupt ****s, if I was a top am like Ward or Smith id turn pro straight away, all that hard work and dedication ruined because of some horrible greedy corrupt ***** who probably never laced on a pair of gloves in his life.

Ye i agree cant see how you would ever want to stay in the amateur system after being on the end of that sort of treatment. Much better to get in the pro game and forge your own path. Not that the pro game is devoid of politics/dodgy decisions.

The AIBA are a joke. These guys have put in years of hard work to have the opportunity to fight at the Olympics and then that gets taken away by corruption
