Nistor said that Yoka is gonna get all the decisions from the judges no matter what and I don't disagee. He hasn't impressed in his two fights so far. He stopped moving so much which is good because he saves more energy but Hrgovic will hurt him if he tries to stand his ground more. Filip seems to be aware that he can't trust the judges here based on the interviews I've read.

To me Hrgovic is a better fighter than Yoka but Yoka is better at the point scoring for 3 round fights

For those who care about the future of the heavyweight division, I'll update you on the final four in the 91+KG Divison at the Olympics, and draw a comparison of a more famous pro fighter so this thread can stay here.

I'm not saying the amateur will be as good as the professional I'm comparing him to, but I will say who I compare him to a professional

Tony Yoka (FRA). 6'5" 1/2 tall. 24-year-old A skilled and mobile big man with a very shaky chin. As far as amateur points scoring goes, Yoka is a tough out! I'd compare him to Tyrell Biggs when Biggs was a hot amateur prospect but lacked the chin for the pro game. He fights Filip Hrgović in the semi-finals. Likely to go pro.

Filip Hrgović 6'6" tall, 24 years old. The best pro prospect of the bunch, Hrgovic KO'd six men in a row in the very pro like World Series of Boxing and knocked a decent Lanier Pero (CUB) silly in round two of the tournament. He reminds me skill wise of the best version of Andrew Golota, except his poise, heart, and chin is much better. We'll see if he gets gold ( judging has been an issue at the Olympics ), but his professional potential is possibly the best since Wladimir Klitschko. Likely to go pro. He fights Yoka next.

Joe Joyce. 6'6" tall, 30 years old. Joyce is a pure slugger. He lacks fundamentals and defense, but there is not doubt he can hit a ton. I'd compare him to a younger Geroge Foreman, minus the refinement, and chin. Joyce has been Ko'd a few times, most notably by young pro Sergey Kuzmin and by unsung Algerian Hamza Beguerni. Personally, I do not think his chin is " Audley Harrison or Herbie Hide " bad, but with no defense, he's going to get whacked in the pros unless he refines his game. He fights Dychko next.

Ivan Dychko. 6'8 1/2" tall. Age 26. Dychko possesses a unique set of skills. He fights like a more mobile Vitali Klitschko. He's footwork / footspeed for a fighter his size can be astounding. While Dychko can hit and take a punch, he's not on Vitali's level for power or chin. Decent skills.Dychko is too big for the smaller fighters, too fast for the larger fighters. A matchup nightmare in the pros. I'd compare him to Vitali Klitschko. Not sure if he will go professional though a few fighters from Kazakhstan's have over the years.

Some additional comments: This is a very good final four. Sorry fans of smaller heavies, as you can see by the size of the final four, these are big men.

Great post. Although think your too high on Hrgovic and Dycho doesn't have nearly the reflexes of Vitali, on top of the lesser chin and power.
