I think he has a point, although I don't think its one that I would have made. Nevertheless, I think his point is that the PED's will make you athletically better but they won't make you necessarily a better fighter. Boxing or fighting in general isn't a static skill sport like sprinting where you hit a physical barrier. Then taking PED's will raise that barrier threshold and you gain a tenth of a second on that 100m dash time.

Boxing on the other hand, still boils down to individual skill, heart, and guts. You can't take a drug to make any of those better.
