If you can't win the argument, bang the table or attack the person.

Watch this documentary, it's really quite excellent:

Seriously - The amount of beyond ******ed calls about juicing on this forum and others in the last 4 weeks is just stunning.

Everyone could use some education and this is probably the most balanced look at steroids I've seen.

I have been posting this **** for a long time since the drug testing has been announced. Now, it looks like it is a new thing????

Repeatedly, I stated that HGH is never detected in any athlete despite the fact that it has been tested for the past 3 olympics using blood tests.

EPO is detechable by urine test as well as simple blood test after the fight.

So blood tests by itself became passe, immaterial, and run out of its usefulness. A simply urine test would sufficed, especially if it is done daily.

    Class dismissed!!!

What's the fuss about HGH anyway. It is not like it is a miracle drug.

Scientific studies have shown that it does not have any effect in enhancing athletic performance. However, since it is a scientific study, it never studied synergistic effects with other drugs.

Apparently, some cheats who use HGH can lower their steroid intake and still gain full benefit. However, because the athlete is taking steroids, he could still e detected with urine test, especially with the new more sentitive one.

So what's the problem with Pacquiao's proposition?

    1. blood test before the press conference
    2. blood test 24 days before the fight
    3. blood test in his dressing room right after the fight (which is supposed to catch any substance he might have used as aid during the fight itself--seriously they can't magically disappear from his system within fifteen minutes right?
    4. unlimited urine testing throughout the training camp- urine testing being the method to catch HGH users and the method used by WADA to detect EPO.

This kind of testing is strict enough and no boxer who intends to cheat would ever agree to this testing because it would pose a lot of risk that he may get caught.

AND FLOYD STILL WOULDN'T ACCEPT THIS? WHAT IS HE A CHICKEN?

EPO has to be detected on the day of the performance, dumb ass. That's right after the fight for you. Don't forget to readjust your gangsta hat to have the correct angle before answering.

in that same article you posted it says "Recently, the urine test was adapted to blood to perform detection of some new erythropoiesis stimulating agents."

obviously there's some new EPO drugs that can only be detected through blood

You are reaching too much lol

the article never implied any of your conclusion. one thing i understood from the article was that urine test was the standard and scientifically validated test as prescribed by WADA, they are now developing blood testing to be used as well

Was going to post a reply to Toopretty's completely inaccurate assertion but, on reading the thread, it appears he's been completely owned already...
