Hello, I've not seen all the fights, but I have picked up a little of the news and results from Beijing. Apparently UK fighters could win Light Heavyweight, Super Heavyweight and Middleweight medals at Silver or Gold, they are all guaranteed Bronze. We all know Khan won a Silver and was a youngster and both Woodhall and Reid won Bronzes at earlier Olympics, but what if the three boxers in the divisions above win Silver or Gold? How likely are they to become Pro's and what futures should they have if they win Gold or Silver? Just interested if someone could post a brief intro on each and what future they have after the Olympics if they are successful. Thanks :hi: UndisputedUK
Yeah sure. Tony Jeffries is the light heavy who im pretty certain will go out in the next round he is strong and quite powerful but isnt very skilled. James Degale is fighting an irishman in the next round and im definitely taking the irishman to win this is at middleweight. i think de gale will go pro and do quite well he has good skill with alright power not too sure on his chin. The super heavyweight is david price. i think he could go all the way he is 6 foot 9 and uses height and reach well and is powerful he will be pro before the end of the year is my bet. is that alright or did you want to know more or something different?
Yeah he is he is fighting the world champ and favourite Roberto Cammarelle but i think he stands a chance in that one and if he does win then i think he wins the final.
