    Round 2

Narvaez continues to catch Orucuta's hard left jabs on his right outer forearm, using his lead foot like a drill-bit to aggressively spin himself a hole in Orucuta's basic hands-up at-the-ready stance and gain a foothold. Orucuta rotates and backs up, looking to get spacing for a long 1-2 on the body. Narvaez keeps slicing in close, ducking and blocking, getting his right foot in between Orucuta's and landing jabs and big lefts windmilled up from behind the hip faster than Orucuta can see them coming. Right hook and left hand by Narvaez staying in Orucuta's chest. Orucuta backs up and lines up a 1-2, catching the champion. More up-and-over attacks from Narvaez, backing Orucuta into the ropes but eating another 1-2.

    10-9 Narvaez

    20-18 Narvaez

Much better second round. Orucuta going to the body seems...odd given Narvaez's stature

His defence is so tight upstairs that it becomes the best way to ensure that he can make some contact.

    Round 3

Narvaez is moving in and clapping Orucuta across the ear with quick lefts. Orutuca is trying to time Narvaez with his 1-2 but often shooting it past either shoulder in a fork-split. Most of the straight punches from the challenger either miss or brush the shoulders of Narvaez as he steps in, claps a short left into Orucuta's face quickly from the side, and disappears with a duck and some quick feet while raising both arms in a pitched shield.

    10-9 Narvaez

    30-27 Narvaez

    What a tank Omar is.

    Respect.

Will always group him in my mind with Calderon, Pongsaklek, and John. The best unappreciated "little men" of the era.

He does have some halfway decent victories (Gallo, Castaneda while unbeaten, Pingo, and Ler mostly for managing to knock the negative ******* out) but outside his first challenge of Narvaez he was never anybody important. He didn't look a very deserving contender on paper heading in but made the most of the chance and gave Narvaez his toughest out at 115 in years. (since probably Seda IMO)

He is too inaccurate to really be world class material, but his style and grit did give Narvaez major problems last time (although I only gave him 3 rounds of 12) - but it seems Narvaez has learned from that experience and has more or less saved his number on speed-dial and figured him out.

    Round 4

Narvaez continues to circle in short lateral hops and then jump in with right jabs and lefts thrown a multitude of ways (clapping in roundhouse, uppercuts, and chops). Right hooks by Narvaez while turning Orucuta. 1-2s up top by Orucuta all blocked, though heavy and moving Narvaez even when caught on the arms. 1-2s on the body from Orucuta now, catching Narvaez as he bounces around more frequently.

    10-9 Narvaez

    40-36 Narvaez
