Or people who think he sucks because, if he never lost in a title fight in 28 or however many fights, then he must suck (you know, the whole "undefeated fighters haven't fought anyone" argument; Narvaez suffers from it).

    Round 9

Narvaez is letting Orucuta bash down repeatedly upon him with the right hand, lifting his arms horizontally to block it and getting knocked across the ring even while blocking. Narvaez is planting his feet and launching quick overhand left or right hook counters on a dime, landing flush as Orucuta rushes in looking for backhanded jabs on the face or 1-2s on the body.

    10-9 Narvaez

    89-82 Narvaez

...you know...a stoppage victory doesn't look impossible for Narvaez right now...Orucuta looking like he's feeling the pace/issues making weight

So, anybody at 115 who you'd fancy to beat Narvaez?

I too was wondering if a closing of the show was possible in the 12th...

    Round 10

Narvaez is catching the double left jab on his right arm, walking forward and slashing at Orucuta with the right tomahawk jab and putting in straight lefts on the face and chest. Orucuta surges every twenty seconds or so coming in with a 1-2 but can't find Narvaez with any consistency and is eating looping lead lefts every time he takes initiative. Orucuta now backs up, Narvaez coming in with the jab and working the left as Orucuta lashes out with a looser defensive version of the 1-2. Body shots sprinkled in by Orucuta when he comes in.

    10-9 Narvaez

    99-91 Narvaez

I'm glad I remembered to watch this. Narvaez is a boss.

In the past I always wanted to watch Srisaket Vs Narvaez, on today's performances thats a horrible mismatch

Cuadras Vs Narvaez could be interesting

Sho Ishida Vs Narvaez could be interesting (Ishida boxes from the outside a lot)

Gonzalez if he decides 115's for him?

    Round 11

Narvaez is landing his southpaw 1-2 now, ducking the Orucuta jab and putting up one more left on the nose for good measure. Narvaez is effectively weaving through everything the Mexican throws at him using viscous upper body movement, landing whenever Orucuta starts feeling cheeky. That is becoming less and less often the case. Orucuta is backing away now, floating let jabs and working the body less.

    10-9 Narvaez

    109-100 Narvaez

The unofficial TyC Sports commentator's scorecard gave the eleventh to Narvaez and has 108-102 to Narvaez overall.

I didn't exactly score round by round, and missed a couple minutes total here and there, but it seems Narvaez lost 2 rounds at the most.

    Round 12

Narvaez is on the attack, chopping Orucuta down with the left and forcing him across the ring. Flurries up top by Narvaez, making Orucuta sit back into a deep squat and poke back out at him with a meager left jab. Narvaez is having everything his way now, stalking and sharp-shooting as Orucuta staggers in retreat and still leaves openings to counter while just pawing a jab at him. Narvaez is landing consistently on the front-foot and beating the will out of Orucuta. Body and head flurries now from Narvaez walking Orucuta down but unable to knock him down. Orucuta is tough.

    10-9 Narvaez

    119-109 Narvaez

Good fight, and an extremely impressive performance by Narvaez. Omar nearly had Orucutu out of there in the 12th, and with the exception of a few rounds in the middle part was dominant for much of the fight.

Edit: 118-110 Narvaez was my score.

On Twitter I saw a few people giving Orucuta 5 of the first nine or having it level entering the championship rounds. :blood
