He is a 5'9" LW who packs a punch in both hands. Has a brutal body attack and just seems like he will be in FOTY after FOTY.

I am very high on this kid. I have only seen him a handful of times but I have been very very impressed by him. He has the frame to go up to WW and the power as well. I saw he was fighting in the undercard of PBF-Cotto.

Would I be crazy to say he is one of the best prospects in boxing?

anyone know any other little details about him?

The Perez fight was impressive. He's a good puncher and doesn't mind going to war. I'm a fan.

Would it be wrong to say that he is similar to Valero? Except tighter punches.

Yep I think he resembles him but he has better punching technique.

Seen him a few times, he's got better since his gift draw in his home town. I Golden Boy threw him into the lion den against Perez and when Omar beat that ass he found a new cash cow. He;s from the Rio Grande Valley. Same as Robert Garcia, James De La Rosa, Eric Molina, Raul Casarez, Rafael Murphy and Luis Zarazua. the Rgv never produced TOP Level World Class fighters. I think some of these guys might make it, a few are already knocking on the door.

Very excited to see him attack the LW division.

I love a fighter with a vicious body attack.

Comes to fight, no doubt about it. Hopefully he doesn't burn out too fast with his style.

I also had no idea who Figueroa was until the Perez fight (where he impressed just about everyone). I'm looking forward to what's ahead for him.
