Omar Henry diagnoised with Cancer [UPDATE]

    Insane. That is really not a good prognosis. As others have mentioned, I hope the cancer is contained and they're able to get it all.

    I met Omar right after he signed with Top Rank. He was fighting on Kelly Pavlik's undercard and I was doing a radio spot the night before the fights in the hotel where the fighters' were staying. He was sitting in a booth by where we were conducting the interviews and I asked him if he wanted to come on the radio. His face lit up. Since then, we've kept in contact and have partied it up in Vegas on occasion. Omar is a very good dude who is not bashful about being in the spotlight. Godspeed my Friend!!

    Absolutely terrible. I don't really know who he is but that's ****ing awful.
    Danny Jacobs had spinal cancer or something and recovered so let's hope

    wow man terrible such a charismatic young talent. I was disappointed when his last fight was canceled but damn this is horrible. My thoughts are with him and his people

    Any update guys?

    Quite worrying not hearing anything. You'd assume if all was well he would have mentioned it. Hopefully that's not the case though.
