    He's entitled to his opinion.

Ah, boxing fanatics. Seemingly on par with religious fanatics. Scary.

He is uneducated. I watched Davis vs Diaz with my mate and I thought alot of the grappling can easy look like a ***** fight if you don't know what is going on. Half guard, full guard, side control, mount, spider guard, rubber guard, arm/leg triangles. None of this is known to the average joe. My mate who box's didn't know any of this but once I showed him all of it he realised MMA isn't a bar room brawl but when a wrestler pins you or a BJJ submits you that its application of technique and skill, not luck.

    Sure they do.
Its his opinion. As unedcuated or as ignorant as it may be to some he's wholly entitled to that.
Theres plenty of MMA fans that ridicule professional wrestling. Im a huge pro wrestling fan. Can i lambast them for that attitude? Sure.
Are they entitled to their opinion despite pro wrestlers in MMA having great success? Most definitly. It is what it is. MMA isnt everyones bag and doesnt need to be.

"entitled to his opinion" does not mean "should be treated with the same validity as an informed opinion"

He is an uneducated idiot, his opinion is of lesser value than a human being with a functioning brain.

He'll rip out your brain from your useless and split it in half with an uppercut...thus leaving you brainless and making Henry smarter than you.

"There is no art in that".

    What a spastic.

    Seriously.

    Common thing to say though.

Immaterial. As already said if he's opinion by YOUR merits is uninformed then thats his problem. Not everyone likes MMA. You just simply need to deal with that fact instead of being so dogmatic. Your stance in effect is hardly different to his.

His opinion isn't educated and informed. If he knew what he was talking about and arguing MMA is rubbish then his opinion is valid but he doesn't know what he is seeing.

He says the heavyweight champ is 3-1. Thats an exception and its happened many times in boxing too. He is also overlooking an insane wrestling background which he has no clue about.
