Will he become the new diaz. They say the reason why he didn't spar with manny was cause he's a full time Student. If he becomes a good fighter, will we hear about that, to no end?
Well, in my opinion Omar has a great potential in being a successful boxer than Diaz. I'm basing my assumption on his current record.
Who cares? Just like every young fighter with star potential, they'll use what they can to promote him and make him a star. Whether it's a rough upbringing or perseverance that leads to a college education, the networks will milk it as much as they can. The kid is looking real good and I think he can move down and fight at 147 after he gets his school out of the way and dedicates 100% of his efforts to boxing.
Just saw his record. Seems like he has power. Still want to know how special he really is. Looks like a long way off before we get to see what he can really do unless he's like gomboa. Was he in the olympic's or something?
on his record? why not his resume? is it because theres no 1 there? people really need to stop comparing prospects to establshed champion level fighters....with that said he looks like a top notch prospect, but a prospect is still just a prospect untill proven otherwise, even if he looks as impressive as he does
