Woohoo!! Rodel Mayol is a headbutting FOOL! lol Nah, seriously, the ref took a point in round 2 from Mayol and I thought he took another point a few rounds later but am not 100% sure of that. In the early/mid rounds, Omar seemed too reliant on the left hook but it ended up serving him well from round 7 on. He dominated the second half of the fight and I'm guessing he won most of the early rounds, too. I don't think any of the headbutts were intentional (there were a lot of them), but both guys seemed to play their part in it happening. Once Omar was able to time his left hook later on the fight, it changed the whole course of the fight. He was lighting Mayol up in the 8th round with unanswered flurries and this pretty much continued for the rest of the fight. One thing that was pretty obvious from the onset of the fight was that Omar was slipping punches better in this fight and was never hurt. It was a fun fight to watch, and I thought Omar clearly won.
Good job Omar.. now it's time to ban that headbutting piece of **** Rodel Mayol. People ***** about Ward, but Mayol causes cuts in damn there EVERY fight he's in.
