Face offs are important in boxing. Sometimes they reveal details of how a fight might go.

Wilder wearing headphones to isolate himself from the context interrupts the face off while Fury stays in place... still and bold. As Joshua made the gesture to salute the belts during the face off with USyK and then it really happened so another Wilder's withdrawal is expected during the fight on Saturday. Fury remains the champion and looks ahead: Joshua for the money and Usyk for the glory, his next steps.

Although I think Wilder is a terrible person and will lose on Saturday, this is likely the right move for him. He knows Fury got in his head previously, and just wants to remove that from the occasion. It is selfish however to his fans and the promotion, but hey Fury talk a hell of a game.

What does it change? He was already done three months ago. I predict another his withdrawal.

1st scenario: Fury"s win by TKO
2nd scenario: Wilder's corner men throw in the towel again.

Fury successfully cheated him last time with the help of the boxing industry, he has a "masterplan" to cheat this time, aided by a ton of "privilege", and the industry presumably hasn't switched allegiances, yet Wilder is apparently so confident he's going to emerge victorious in spite of this horribly stacked deck.

    Insert Daily Struggle image exploit.

If Wilder is actually serious about knocking fury out. How the **** is he going to face him in the ring, if he cannot even face him in a press conference?

I bet Wilder has on his ear muffs again on Friday. Narcissist needs to keep that fragile ego intact right up to first bell.

Still not clear to me if Wilder is that fragile ina press conference, how he's going to face someone charging at him in the ring.

Is he going to take headphones to the match?

Wilders intimidating aura ended in the face off of fight II imo. Since then hes a normal boxer. He cant scare fighters of Fury's level.

That video posted a few days ago where we see him crying in the arms of another person is more emblematic of the face off we are talking about.

    Hes done...as Joshua...after all.

Don't get me wrong, I despise Wilder as much as the next person, but given the fact that Fury had to postpone due to COVID he can leverage off this.

If Wilder comes into this presser incredibly confident and tries to push the narrative that Fury cheated, he may well get in Fury's head.
From someone that has been around people with mental health issues, I hope Fury has been quiet for the good of the fight. If that silence has been contributing to his own R&R I think we are in for a fight.

Wilder's team of yes men cheering him on and holding his hand is so embarassing.
