I agree with that.....there arent any saviors from what I can see. Walds preformance took him out of that category as well. If only Wald could get back to how he use to fight before his got all shook up by getting KO'd.:-(

do you think he's worthy of that #2 slot ahead of let's say......chagaev?

    compare their comp...

peter's best three wins - toney X2, mccline, sykes/hawkins/williams, take ya pick.

chagaev's - valuev, virchis and ruiz.

No, I dont. I have said this already, Peter deserves the 3 spot at moment, if he beats Maskaev, then he should own the 2 spot, without a doubt.

These Peter haters/Klit lickers are funny little boys.

Let's see... Peter knocks Wlad down 3 times with glancing blows in a fight he had no business taking at such an early part of his career, he hasn't lost since... and somehow he has no business being mentioned with Wladamir? :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

    Comical.

Said it before and I'll say it again... Samuel Peter will be the man to take Wlad's belts. Either Wlad will lose 3 points for excessive holding (provided we have a ref with half a brain the next time around) or he's getting stopped. Because there is no way Wlad will stand toe-to-toe with Peter, or anyone for that matter.

He stood toe-to-toe with Peter in rounds 11 and 12 and had Peter on ***** street :yep

u better hold off on the wlad-peter 2 talk til your boy wins tomorrow. haye fanboys are doing the same thing. yall look quite foolish if either one of them goes down tomorrow.

although at least Haye can say he was weight drained and Peter's henchmen will come up with another bs excuse

If Peter loses tomorrow night, I will be the FIRST guy here giving Maskaev props. The FIRST.

IF Sam wins... Let's get Wlad v.s Peter II DONE. It is THE HW fight fans want.

    :rofl

    Here we go again.

Let's see, were the 96 clinches/holds "legit"? If there was a half decent ref in that ring that night, Wlad would have had a few points deducted and justice would have been served. And again, this was against a RAW and VERY GREEN AND NOT READY Sam Peter.

I can't wait for the rematch... when Peter is actually fighting him at the proper point in his career. The belts are going bye-bye that night for Wladamir Klitschko.

I dont know, he kinda got stunned by light punching Chambers, he needs a couple more fights before challenging Wlad, though he does have a couple things in his arsenal that can give Wlad some trouble.

I will wait until the analysis threads are official before I go off on Wlad/Povetkin, but Povetkin had the flu for his fight with Chambers - so don't judge him off that fight (although he still handily won and threw over 900 punches). But yes, i take Povetkin to upset Wlad. Wlad is mentally weak, Povetkin is arguably the strongest mental fighter on the planet. He will t/ko Wlad in the later rounds of the fight after Wlad realizes that Povetkin isn't slowing down and has taken his best shots while never backing up. I'll stop there
