So far, the list for "KO of the Year" looks like the following: 1. Urango KO4 Vilches 2. Sylvester KO12 Castillejo 3. Miranda KO3 Banks 4. Abraham KO12 Ayala Looks like to be a pretty good year for a lot of massive KO's, 2nd in a row...
i always thought that urango looked an intimidating guy when he fought hatton.he looks a bit of a monster at the weight is strong and obviously has good power.even though he's a bit one dimensional hatton who lookss to use his strength on the inside thought better of it and decided to box the guy at long range.
Hatton had a shocker and schooled Urango! I think Urango has improved since then, but Vilches isn't a particularly good fighter, though usually tough and durable.
I thought Urango won the hatton fight personally, I don't think hatton landed the more meaningful blows and Urango had Hatton hurt multiple times. Win some robberies , lose some robberies though. I think Urango needs a better trainer. If he can get someone to start getting him to use his jab and throw more combos he would become so much more dangerous. He is built like a 140 Mike Tyson.
the banks ko looked crazier because dude was outside of the ring... but he got up within the 10 second limit this **** was ******ed cause the guy was out for 3-5 minutes ... but i dunno shits close wasnt miranda banks late 07?
Let me guess. There's 4 baseball plays before it right? ****ing boring sport. God forbid boxing should ever get any notoriety. That knockout was better than anything those non-athletes could do and it's #5? There better be some Kobe or Lebron highlights before it cuz anything else would be just flat out wrong.
You can't have watched much boxing my friend. All three judges had it 119-109, I had it 118-110 - doesn't sound much like a robbery to me! I bet you had Holyfield beating Lennox in their first fight as well!
so you ignore the fact that for the first 6 rounds hatton completely boxed his head off.i agree he hurt hatton with a couple of body shots midway through the fight but that was the only time.i also agree that for the 2nd half of the fight hatton hit and held a lot but he was still clearly winning the fight, urango hardly landed anything of note,it was almost a complete shut out.there was never any outcry from anywhere about the decision, although a lot of people weren't paricularily impressed with hatton.i do believe urango is a fighter the top guys don't paricularily want.
