Yeller CanelHOE dont want no part of that. GGG vs Mallo is THE FIGHT TO BE MADE at the MWs. Monstrous jab by Mallo early and devastating UC to end it. Maybe Williams packing glass....idk....but Mallo got some dynamite anyhow.
Man what a display by Charlo. This guy is primed for 160. Thank god this was his last 154. I think any doubts about him are out the window if there was any ever.
I think Charlo just packing dynamite in his hands. That uppercut would have dropped basically any middleweight.
Kov ain't the only one with a good jab huh, The way he rolled that punch and delivered that uppercut was magnificent. However, to be honest J Rock was giving him all he could handle. The power was the game changer.
Was very impressed with J rock's hand speed and he's no slouch at all and I didn't expect it to be easy for Charlo. how ever Charlo isn't far behind in that department but the power isn't even close. Charlo has tons of power.
It looked like Willaims was fighting a light heavyweight. Williams was doing some good work, but was a bit too ambitious offensively. They say he watches Hopkins vs Tito all the time. He didn't take in that Hopkins patience, and also wasn't tucking his chin. If Williams had power, I wouldn't have minded him staying in the pocket so much, but when you are hitting the guy with solid shots and he is eating them no problem, you have to be more cautious.
I missed the fight. Did he say he was moving up in the post fight interview or conference? In an interview right before the fight he said something along the lines of "being the guy who upsets the young lions" talking about how there were a lot of undefeated prospects coming up at 154.
He said he's most likely moving up unless a big fight at 154 happens. Aka canelo or maybe even demetrius andrade.
Aw Charlo won? I missed it. Good for him, I was pulling for J Rock but this could have gone either way on paper. Was it a good competitive fight?
