How ironic, The Klitschko Brothers are dressed up like the majority of their opponets, fat, overweight, and out of shape.
Let's face it fellas. It's time for a Senoirs tour in boxing. And also it would make qualifying for a title shot a lot more sensible. For example when you hit 40 you should automatically receive tour status if you're a top 15 contender. Otherwise there should be a sanctioning governing body that oversees the entry of fighters onto the Sr. HW Tour. Also this could limit the # of bad HW's that we have to watch. Those boxers receiving tour status should qualify based on a 90% success ratio in the last 36 months of their active careers. Any title losses can be eliminated from the ratio factor if the loss was a split decision within a total of 3 points on all cards combined or a draw can also be excluded from any factoring that determines success ratio. Now due to the activity and implementation of this process being initiated a boxoff or tourney would not be necessary due to the the number of bouts available based on rankings. You could work matches much like an NBA or NHL playoff scenario. 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, etc.... The winner of the Sr.'s tour would receive a legitimate shot at The HW championship! Also you could segment younger HW's by age and set up a legitimate elimination process that would allow more bouts to be made and more new fighters to be seen. USA boxing back in the day kinda had that concept but not really well defined. What's important is that as much HW talent as possible is exposed. This would help the serious weak appeal that the division has and bring a string of better boxers and atheletes to the division.
