Mundine has announced he is fighting Nader Hamden in his next bout!!! ZOMG!!

No offence to Hamden because he was a very good fighter in his day who didn't get the fights he deserved until he was past it, but for Mundine to fight Hamden now is just beyond belief!!! :tired:tired:tired:tired:tired:tired:tired:tired :dead:dead:dead:dead:dead

It wouldnt surprise you if it was Nader actually chasing the fight?

...and it is a way better fight than Clavero.

and green once again made him **** when returning serve with the foghorn leghorn remark.too funny.mundine beat him in the ring on the night, but he cannot compete with green in intelligence or witty stakes.no contest.the guy carves him up everytime.yes choc nuthuggers ,he won the fight, but i love watching him get made to look sillier every time he tries to belittle green.

Mundine is a joke. Hamdan is to be considerede around no. 100 in the world after not winning a single round in his last fight against Mads Larsen. This is probably one of the worst title fights ever. Nievas may beat it, but not by much. Clavero was even worse. Three in a row. Most corrupt nation in the boxing world? germany, because of their judges or Australia, because they get the worst bums approved for world title fights? This is a disgrace not only for boxing, but for Australian boxing and WBA in particular.

    it is unfortunate because
1/ it is not fair on the paying public
2/it is costing $50 to watch from your armchair
3/no need for this, mundine is good enough and has enough money backing to take on and find respectable opposition.
4/it is sullying mundine`s name overseas.
5/bika at the moment is a known and hot commodity and mudines style is perfectly suited to getting in and out and bika1s name has garnered a lot of credibilty due to his contender win and him giving calzaghe and bute hard fights.

do a better job on bika and mundines name would come into the mix whenever 168 division is being talked about.

as it is he is out of sight out of mind in the rest of the world bar real hardcore fans and his recent defenses are doing his reputation harm.

calzaghe went all through this as well before coming good late on , and if mundine wants a legacy as well as money he has got to take some risks.

with mundine`s style age can catch up very quickly , so he needs after hamdan to get a move on.

As long as Mundine is making money fighting opposition of this calibre in his own backyard, he will never venture out of his comfort zone to seek better opponents.

Amazing that a boxer who has held 2 world titles (albeit second tier versions of the real title), after 33 fights, has never fought in the US.

    Intersting, to say the least.

After some of his derrogatory comments against the US, maybe he should just stay clear of the country all together.:deal

When he first made those comments, I suspected it was his way of ensuring he would never be welcome to fight in the US.

For some reason, he does not want to fight in the US, and I suspect it's because he knows the depth of competition over there would have exposed him by now.
