This content is protected Not sure when this was taken but this was his days at 205. He has stretch marks on his shoulder there which indicate rapid weight gain. As you can see certainly not as big as he is now at 254lbs.
I'm no expert on this at all, but isn't it possible that with the right diet, training etc that Overeem just had the latent potential to build up that big? Or is it definately hormones, steroids etc?
Yes it would be possible if that was all he was doing ie lifting weights. But the guys been fighting all year. In between that he can put on 30lbs of musculature in between the CV that negates his gains? Not possible end of story. The only way you can do that is through hormones. That being said Overeem is nearly 30, will start to fill out and reach muscle maturity as well as walking around at at least 220-225 when he fought at 205.
Ok, just checking because, you some people get buff just by lifting. Although, with him fighting, he is now fighting at heavyweight so he doesn't need to cut or anything. There is practically no weight limit so couldn't he have gained a fair bit of muscle just to bulk up and be competitive? Even thought this would assume then that he isn't training for fighting all that hard.
