Great performance indeed, actually it was a beating against a very slow opponent. Pac #1 P4P for sure, but why people are already talking about Pac beating Hatton when he only fought Diaz at 135, there are way better competition that Pac hasn't face, like Casamayor, Babybull, Campbell, Katsidis etc.
I was completely impressed by Pac's performance tonight. Total domination. Props to Diaz for showing a lot of heart. It was almost painful to watch him take all those puches full on. Bravo Manny. Bravo. There's no doubt who the P4P king is now.
According to anyone who wasn't blind. There wasn't even a question as to who won the rounds, only whether they should be scored 10-8 even though there wasn't a knockdown.
impressive performance, i think he's becoming a better boxer right now. Nice use of his arms to block punches, he's getting damn better. This is like the transition barrera was before. Simply impressive:happy
like i said in another thread, diaz may be C level or so but he is a decent big and tough fighter at lightweight. And look at him post fight no scratch, bruise whatsoever
He also improved a lot! I've seen head movement from him and he doesnt get off balance anymore as much.
Although Pacquiao hadn't scored any knockdowns before the 9th-Rd, Diaz is getting beat badly and was simply outclassed.. Pacquiao looked a lot better than he did at 130 and had a variety of punches tonight.. The head movement, footwork, blocking, and he was able to take Diaz's shot that didn't seem to bother him at all.. I think we're looking at a different fighter here than what we was seeing at 130..
yes indeed. And i think Pac is comfortable at this weight. He still has the speed and power. that fight will shake up the 135lb div.
Indeed it was a VERY VERY impressive performance by Pac. He was a beast out there. But guess what? That's not the most impressive thing Pac did. For me, the most impressive thing he did in the whole fight was the fact that he quickly rushed to help Diaz after knocking him out. You guys noticed that? How he disregarded the referee's instruction to stay in the corner and instead went to Diaz and gave him a hand? What a Classy Guy..
yes i noticed that, he rush and i've posted on a different thread. He should be waiting for the count but instead rush in to see if diaz was ok. Even prayed back to his corner, man if that was a different fighter i tell you after that KD they'd go do the usual like jump around with their arms raise but pac he rush in quickly and was worried about diaz trying to help him stand up, that was really pure class
