    Good fight. Poor stoppage.

Considering they'd both come back from being hurt a few times (each dropped once) Odom deserved the benefit of the doubt there.

Not the best showing from Oyewale, but he got the job done and came through some early adversity.

    Dropped and hurt multiple times.

    It was pretty shocking, really.

Up there with Ishida vs. Kirkland (except the lanky underdog didn't win in the end this time).

Omotoso showed grit, and of course he's still got the equalizing power even against a bigger man.

Long time reader. First time writer.

Just for you own reference, Wale headlined a FOX card (vs. Tia Koswara) and was on the Mundine vs Soliman PPV a few years back.

    Just sayin...

    Welcome welcome redmist.

Wale didn't look sensational overall but I'll look at it glass half full and say it's good to see him come back from stuff like that instead of as IB hinted go down the Kirkland route and get completely decimated..or like a lot of prospects that get hurt early, lose confidence and completely clam up..then ultimately win an unconvincing or controversial decision. Good to see some grit and ticker.

I'd rather look it that way then look at it half empty and say there were possibly some huge flaws exposed today..**** happens, you can get caught cold sometimes in the first round.

    Thanks m8.

I'm all for Wale and I agree with the glass half full approach.

Just a shock to him caught cold. FYI, he ain't ever been dropped and that's with or without headgear. I've got all his pro fights from Murray shows.

He'll be one of our best imports ever.

Omotoso has a great team around him now and expect him to move onto bigger and better things with top rank. How far he goes we shall see but i expect lots of excitement along the way!

Perhaps FOX Sports will show a tape delay of this fight & the rest of the Top Rank card in Atlantic City...in about a months time.
