Durans record looks enough to consider this a very low risk bout for the rising star from Murray Thompsons Blackburn stable. With 12 years experience, Durans performances of late have not seen him go past 6 rounds... fighting 6 round bouts being the reason!!! Murray Thompson has called this a 'keep busy' fight and just as well. The likelyhood of Duran entertaining more than 4 rounds appears unlikely, although a reasonable KO record ensures fireworks for the first couple of rounds anyway. Working hard to keep O-O active and free of rust is fair enough, and worth seeing the action anytime he climbs through the ropes. It'll be a long flight home for Duran.
Better he fights to stay busy then on the shelf completely. Hope he has a much bigger bout come mid year
