for me its an 10. i used to be 170lbs before i started lifting. im 230 now. im a naturally skinny guy. if i dont lift enough my appetite starts to drop and my weight and strength starts to drop. i want to fight at heavyweight so i need to keep my weight up, but i dont want to be bulky just nice and lean. i only do a few brief workouts a week focusing on compound lifts for strength. i feel it has helped my power tremendously

im in the same situation as you, im a naturally thin guy, with out lifting weights i dont feel like i have the strength to be competative, my appetite also drops and i lose weight. With weights, i eat more so i can keep good weight on and strength has improved, My last fight i went up from 69kg to fight at 72kg. I knocked my opponent out at a heavier weight didvision. At 69kg i never dropped anyone. I didnt have enough power. So going up a weight division has actually been better for me.
Its not always good to fight at a light weight division if you dont have the power to hurt your opponent. Weight training improves your power.
