On advice of Mr IB I bring you Maruta chan

AB said he had the video and would upload it later today, from what I understand he was annoyed by what was shown by KTV but didn't go into detail.

If I say 2 minutes of fight footage would be a bonus I think you can tell why I'm disappointed. KTV filmed the whole thing then gave up the equivalent of chump change.
Will get it posted tonight but much of the 6 minute video is training footage, sadly.

Why did they bother then?

 

It wasn't aired on a boxing broadcast, more of a...local interest show, "Wonder". Likely bothered as they know they have a potential star on their hands and will get him attention now with what was more a documentary style piece than anything else.

Hopefully you'll get a chance to get something from the footage, the fight footage is limited but the final 2 minutes or so do show some footage from the fight.

For what it's worth, it's better than Fuji TV had of Ryo Matsumoto's bout Vs Luis May, THAT was pathetic.

Goddamn, how low a crouch was Canoy in there? His face was below Maruta's crotch more often than not. Is that his usual style? Refs let him get away with that?

This kid needs to learn how not to move straight backwards.....has a good winging right hand for sure.
