Assuming this gets asked quit ea lot. I'm at college right now, so my family doesn't have a ton of money, and my mom hates boxing, so this summer, I'm most likely going to have to get a job and pay for it on my own...what am I looking at per month for personal boxing lessons?
mines sets me back like £40 a month. im pretty tight fisted so it hurts my pocket. few gyms charge £1 a session but they are ****. If i didnt love boxing so much id just join a bodybuilding one at £15 a month
Have you actually phoned the gyms in your area and asked? Nobody here could tell you, the prices vary quite a bit from gym to gym.
£1 a session ones here are just basically a mass quantity of people doing a circuit.no pads,no one on one time with your coach
Fair enough, we have four coaches in ours walking round taking different people on the pads, so you get at least four or five rounds a session with them
I pay $100 a month, but it's more of an MMA gym.. I focus about 80% on boxing, but i'll do the mauy thai and bjj a little..
Can't seem to find any near me, except for on the GPS. I need one either near Alliance, Ohio or Morgantown, WV. I'm looking for a gym that has 1-on-1 time and isn't 2 days a week. I'm looking for a serious boxing gym where I can get some good training.
I guess is a US or european thing to charge because here in PR every boxing gym is free. You just walk in and ask to train and that's it. Although they dont take everybody, you have to talk to the trainer and if you are serious they will take you but you have to be disciplined and young cause not many take you if you are over 18. Some have pros and advanced amateurs at the gym that will help you out cause the trainers spend most of the times with them so you have to learn the basic with them and secondary trainers. Once you show promise and discipline they'll give you more attention. :hat
