Well my apologies for beign back after a very extended hiatus, but what a fight tonight. I told ppl beforehand that Mosely had a great chance of winning the fight and sure enough he did. It wasn't as much of a shock as much as a suprise. Much like the Pavlik-Hopkins, who before he was a household name on here or anyone really knew of him praised Pavlik like no other, it wasn't a shock as it was a suprise. A surpise that Hopkins and Mosely were able to dominate the way they did. I knew they could win, but to dominate the way they did in each fight was amazing.

Now who should Mosely fight? Well at the end I told my friend he should call out Mayweather. But I also said to wait and see the results of the Hatton-PacMan fight. I think it's plausabile to have a PPV where the winner of that fight then fights Mosely and the loser is the co-main eventer thus having a very major Double Main Event card. It would draw amazing PPV rates in my opinion, but that's how I think.

I think he could fight a number of folks, Clottey deserves a chance. Paul Williams deserves it the most, but so many ppl are afraid to fight him and really who could blame them? Another Cotto fight would be nice to. Maybe even Berto perhaps, but he's still up and coming. If he's looking for a fight then any of the aforementioned ppl would be great. If he's looking for a payday then fight the winner of Ricky and PacMan.

Before I go, am I the only person who finds it funny that Oscar decided to take the payday tonight and go to the Affliction PPV up the road then to witness Mosely destroy Margarito? Yeah they teamed with Affliction and he is the face of Golden Boy, but he could of showed up and bolted to The Staples Center. Guess you go where the money is, little lame I think but to each their own.

 

Shane can call out any fighter he wants, he's always fought the best. Taking this Margo fight was a huge risk. It's one Mayweather would dare not dream of....

Could not have said it better myself. Pac could fight him 5 months from now and and if he handled him people would say Mosley was shot, despite looking like a ****ing BEAST tonight.

 

Man I wish Shane would call Floyd out. Thats the fight that has to be made this year.

Mosley legitimized such a fight tonight. He showed what he's got left, and that's a lot. Especially if he had Nazim in his corner again. It would be one hell of a fight.

 

Yeah, I see it pretty much the same way. Shane just hits too hard for either Pac or Hatton to want the fight (and they don't need the money). Shane is probably going to have to look at Cotto, Berto, & Clottey. I don't expect Floyd will come back for Shane either. I doubt PW will return to 147 or and don't think Shane would want to go meet him at 154.

 

That's it, I watn to see this fight too, I'm going looking for baby seals.
