Its possible he says these things to enhance his bad guy rep, so that even more people want to pay to see him lose, after all, guys like Ali & SRR are revered by millions so obviously that news aint gonna go down too well.... but if he`s serious, he is very delusional, Ali, Robinson & Leonard are better than Mayweather... he is however still the best of this era, of that there is little doubt but he should leave those legends names out of it IMO... at least until he has proved himself more than he has (Mosely & Pacquiao will help his case, tho it will still fall short in my eyes) til this point.

The claims would be a little more palatable if he'd just take care of business. If he gets past Mosley(probably will have to do it twice) and Pacquiao, he can say what he wants.

mayweather is just talking trash he's one of those guys that likes to hear himself talk you cant take him serious and if you let him get to you he's doing his job and that's what he wants to feel important just ignore him.. he'll be miserable when he becomes insignificant in a year or two

He would be top 15 at least, with a strong case for top 10.

    Good post!!

I guess the only issue anyone could have with the above is the comment regarding Floyd's "Undoubted" p4p ranking! As you rightly, say it is subjective! You and many others have him at #1, many others have him at #2.

By and large that was a good read!:good

Floyd will be one of the best fighters who ever lived if he keeps winning. Will he ever reach Ali, Armstrong, Both Sugar's, duran, Sweetpea or Louis's status...probably not, but he'll be close...unless he beats an Arthur Abraham at 168 after beating Shane and P-Dub. Pac is not even close to ever being ranked with any of the aforementioned...

 Oh come on now, you don't seriously believe that now do you?

Even as he stands today, I can comfortably say his legacy doesn't even match up to Pacquiao's, let alone the Leonards and the Alis!

Yes he is one of the most naturally gifted fighters to have ever laced the gloves (more gifted than Pacquiao), but the approach he's taken in his career (particularly the higher up in weight he went), unfortunately does very little in helping him justify his far fetched claims.

Edit: Actually when thinking about it, his legacy probably does match Pac's. Maybe a little weaker, ever so slightly though

Until floyd loses, he's the best pfp fighter in the world. PAc in my eyes has never taken over he number 1 spot.

If he does that I see no possible way he would be outside of the same tier as Whitaker, whose regarded a 14-20 ATG
