I dont know if any1 has posted this already But did mosley 4get to go to the body when floyd had his hands up high covering his face??????? something i rarely seen him do....
He went to the body as soon as he realized that Floyd was really hurt...but he missed because he was excited...:think. As soon as he missed that first punch, he just started throwing artillery at the head...Remember that, while Floyd was badly hurt, he wasn't hurt for that long and Mosley understood the absolute urgency of the situation and panicked a bit... I think people need to start giving Floyd his due credit for managing the situation like he did...
KOing a guy with PBF's defensive tools and such a small time window(only hurt for 15-30 seconds) is quite an undertaking...Mosley did all anyone could have done in that situation...given the opponent...:think
Mosleys best shot was to land something big that could hurt PBF enough to get a stoppage. After PBF made adjustments Shane had no chance in the fight. Will never know b/c PBF chin was up to the task.
Mayweather was only hurt for like a couple of seconds, and when I looked at for a second time, it seemed liked his equilibrium was knocked off, for a second, but his head seemed clear. Right after Mosley landed the shot, Mayweather smugly shook his head as if too say "you didn't hurt me'.' I think his legs were a little affected, but his mind was sharp, and that's why he managed the situation as easily as he did.
^ Floyd was on wobbly legs for the rest of that round. Mosley looked tired after the first couple of flurries he threw. He didn't seem to have the coordination or the snap in his punches to the finish the job. A younger Mosley would have been winging bomb after bomb.
No he wasn't. After he came off the ropes after Shane attempted a flurry, and swung and missed at Shane with a right, it was business as usual. Shane got his attention though.
... No he was on wobbly legs. Watch the round again. He was dazed for the rest of that round. Emmanuel Steward commented about his legs not being there.
Yeah, when he threw that right hand at Mosley, he fell off balance because his legs were still shaky.
1) Emmanuel doesn't have the same one shot power as Mosley 2) $ May doesn't get caught with the same shot twice 3) Pac will be easy to handle once he's forced into a clinch courtesy of being a "true" 140pounder like his fans love to put it
Sure, tasco. If he gets seriously injured like when Mosley buckled his knees he won't allow that same kind of shot to land again. There was nothing left that night for Mos but a paw jab.
Pac won't land that shot anyway since he's a southpaw. The Mosley fight isn't really relevant. Pac will land plenty though. He'll outwork Floyd to a decision most likely or maybe score late round TKO.
