Based on boxing rules, Salido should have been DQd. Boxing has rules as much as people like you like to forget that. Loma beat Lopez 7-5..he won rounds 2 and 6 and therefore the fight. Plenty of people had Loma winning those rounds and scoring a draw/win. He won the Haney fight too

 

Loma fans just need to accept that he's great fighter without being an ATG fighter. And there's no shame in that. He is fun to watch and has had a great career.

But his fans got ahead of themselves and now the dreams are dashed. Just let it go....

 

Yep I agree with you on the Lopez score. Loma did not do much in the first 6, but people like to think Lopez did loads and swept them.. He was following Loma around swinging hitting elbows and shoulders. Loma outlanded Lopez with the cleaner shots in rounds 2 and 6 I gave Loma : 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. He argaubly won 12 too.

 

Arguably won round 12 ? When Lopez outlanded him 50-19 in round 12 ?

Lomachenko only landed 32 punches in first 7 rounds, he lost the fight by doing virtually nothing in the 1st half of the fight, yes Lopez wasn't a whirling dervish either but atleast he threw and landed punches Lomachenko did nothing.

Lopez closed the show in the 12th round to win pretty clearly end of.

 

Possible you simply aren't a good scorer...............he definitely lost to Teo

 

He definitely deserved to lose to Teofimo Lopez, and it was a very winnable fight. Dropping rounds in crucial fights twice. He took his foot off the gas in the 12th against Haney.

I believe he deserved the win (if not draw) against Salido and Haney.

I've already debunked what you've said, Loma won rounds 2 and 6. It's not really up for debate. In rounds 1, 3, 4 and 5, Lopez was simply following Loma swinging and missing, hitting arms and occasionally landing body shots. Lopez was not doing much either. He looked like a standard basic weight bully in those rounds, following him around swinging at his mid section. Didn't have the skillset to actually cut off the ring and land headshots.

This was all against the smaller guy as well, so all the more embarassing for Lopez

Giving Lomu the 12th vs Lopez is tantamount to giving Haney the 10th at the weekend (aka a 'Moretti').

 

The facts are he beat Haney but lost to Lopez

 

- Salido should of been DQ
- Lopez I had as a draw, but no complaints.
- Some bull**** vs Haney.

So probably one loss, but that's how it goes.
