Just wondering if they should have told him to just stay out the way in that last round cos he’d won the fight? Love what Fury did and he did win the fight no doubt but that last knock down basically lost him the belt and the win. I’m sure Tyson has it in him to slip and tie up in that last round. Maybe I’m just frustrated so picking at straws!
I think he should've made the last round ugly and just survived it but he had boxed so well and obviously wanted to win in style by dominating the round again. Then he got caught and that cost him the fight, even though he desrved the cards either way. However, getting caught with those bombs in the 12th, being knocked unconscious and getting up the way he did is a moment that will go down in boxing history. It's everywhere you look on the internet today. This was the man "just back for a paycheck" allegedly. It made even his biggest haters respect him. So perhaps it's all meant to be. If he gets fairly judged in the rematch, the dramatic 12th round in this fight will only benefit his career and reputation. It also keeps him very highly motivated!
Fury’s corner didn’t **** up. Fury did. He didn’t listen to what Ben Davison said, he got a bit over confident and it nearly cost him.
Well Fury's corner should told him to stop that clowning around , it neeley cost him the fight , an if there were no knockdown Fury would of won buy UD . It's da corner's job to CEE what da fighter cant CEE .
i didnt see any difference in the 12th than the rest of the fight apart from he got caught so nah dont blame the corner... This fight was always going to be about can tyson avoid getting caught, such a shame it happened in the last round, one punch to undo all the months of hard work.
It happened so quick there probably wasn't much he could have done. the momentum was on Wilder's side and he just happened to land the two punches, it was strange how it came out of nowhere.
Fury’s corner should have told him not to get knocked down in the last round. It was a major oversight and ultimately cost him the win. Terrible corner work. On the flip side, Wilder’s corner should have told him to knock Fury down in the 11th rather than the 12th. He would probably have won if he had done this.
I think they should have told Tyson to avoid every punch thrown in every round , either that or knock him out in the first round with the first punch. Still, He'd have only got a draw if he did that. Poor corner work all round
