Devon Alexander vs Lucas Martin Matthysse
Zab Judah vs Lucas Martin Matthysse
    Pacquiao vs Marquez 3

I actually think that those were very close fights, and could have gone either way. People speak of Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3, as if Pacquiao weren't in this fight. I have to admit, I thought that Pacquiao lost but it was so close that it could have gone either way.

Its easy to get caught up in the hype, especially when the fighter you support is on the losing end of a close fight.

What are some other fights that you thought were robberies at first, but on second watch changed your mind?

Only mathysse vs alexander was a clear robbery the others 2 were closer allthough I had lucas and jmm winning.
I place them under controversial decision, but not controversial enough that you have to respect the decision like jmm vs pac 1/2 or pea vs oscar.
I felt hopkins vs pascal 1 was a robbery but after rewatching it I guess you can make a case for a draw, I really felt hopkins got screwed out of his legendary accomplishment right then, really pissed off.

The 2 Matthysse fights were robberies. There's always that point that close fights can't be robberies, but that just isn't true.
if it's over 12 rounds, and one wins 6 clearly, loses 3 rounds and 3 can go either way it isn't a robbery if it's a draw (just a bit suspect). But if the guy loses it suddenly becomes a robbery, because no case can be made for the other guy winning more as all of the close rounds.

Now recon if one guy wins half of the rounds clearly and even scores a knockdown in both fights (the 2 Matthysse fights), that's a robbery in my book. :deal

The scoring was ridiculous for alexander vs mathysse, but I think a case could have been made for 95-94 either way or a draw.

What people fail to understand about calling the JMM vs Pac 3 a robbery is that it wasn't called a robbery because JMM beat him by an overwhelming number of rounds, but more so because he beat him clearly by several rounds. The key word being CLEARLY.

That wasn't a robbery. Some judges appreciate different preformances- Castillo fought a dirty, ugly fight- some judges look down upon that. And of course there was the HBO commentary bull**** bias with that old ****** Lederman's garbage score card. It could have gone either way. But you should really shut the **** up about robberies friend, because Pac got a gift decision against Marquez 3 times.

Robbery is an overused term, but yes they were.
