what you expect from the grant and mcbride fights? People on here really think its easy to bulldoze through a professional fighter that outweighs you by at least 30-40 pounds and is half a foot taller than you. He got his experience in, had beautiful condition for throwing 3x as much as the other guy and won easily. You think its easy to beat up and wear down a mammoth dude each round throwing at least 50 punches a round and then you are expected to find that power in the later rounds and knock his big ass over? Get real! Only tyson had that small guy power..He learned how to fight with big guys which essentially led him to a fight with Vitali. His preparation and iq will make this a great fight. You don't see other heavies having long-term preparation like Adamek has...

 

That's a stretch. He isn't Mike Tyson but he's one of the few exciting HW whom can fight with the top notch guys.

You bring up a David Haye fight in this thread for what reason?

Wlad vs Haye was never going to be that exciting. It was pretty clear who would win. The only excitement came from wondering what would happen if Haye connected with Wlad's chin. Turns out nothing did.

In this fight Adamek can't outbox Vitali and he can't knock him out, so unless your definition of excitememt is just watching one guy beat up his over matched opponent then i'm not sure why you think it's going to be exciting.

Basically, I said I've not been too impressed with Adamek at HW and you decided to write a paragraph about David Haye. I think you've got some issues.

haha that wasnt a paragraph. Not trying to start something but that cracked me up at the end. I agree with your analysis though. We as Adamek fans just believe in Adamek giving it a great fight and possibly giving Poland a HW champ. It is a great time for us and we are truly happy for this opportunity. Sorry if ya dont feel it like we do, the feeling is great. Lets just hope Adamek can box with vitali and not get into a quick brawl. If they box and Adamek can control vitali's punches, we in for a good fight.

 

look, people seem to be complelety over reacting to what I said. Let me break it down a bit:

I was looking forward to seeing Adamek at heavy and against a k-bro. However, after seeing him in against Grant and McBride I don't see a way he beats Vitali, who is just as big and a thousand times as skillful as those two.

I don't get what is so controversial about this.

 

Your dislike of Adamek has everything to do with David Haye.

I wasn't overreacting to your comment, thats just how I analyze those 2 fights and thats what they were there for... For this fight.

 

Haye was proven to be all talk and a hype job just like all British fighters are (the exception being Carl Froch who can actually fight)

Adamek will at least try and not disgrace himself and his people like Haye did. I think that was his point.

 

Nothing wrong in thinking or predicting Adamek cant win as i share the same outcome.
