Kermit was clearly outboxing Williams, had him confused and missing almost everything he threw and , I feel, it was just a matter of time that he times Paul and nailed him with something big.

I know I am in the minority but I feel Cintron is actually a good, well-rounded fighter and he looked very, very good through the first 3 rounds this past weekend.

    Flame away. :good

I don't think Kermit has the inner-strength to come back and be anything great. But I do think had the fight gone on he would have done a good job on Williams. Kermit is a mess but he is a good athlete, he was winning the rounds, he was getting off better and Williams did go in with that "boxing" gameplan which wasn't him and wasn't working. ....Or something else would've happened and Kermit would've found a way to screw it up. He'd screw up a wet dream.

Yea and many thought Quintana would out box Williams the same thing in the rematch lol. Williams won't start off slow in the rematch. If Williams starts fast by being first most of the time, he'll wear down Cintron until Cintron quit like Cintron normally does.

i thought Cintron was winning the fight. I was surprised when they gave Williams the win. Especially 1 judge giving him all 4 rounds!!

There probably won't be a rematch, a least not for a long time.

yeah of course Cintron will win. Thats why he chose to jump through the ropes when things started to get tough

    I disagree.

I think Williams having had a look at what Cintron was trying to do will adapt in the rematch and take away that separation between the two from the get go.

Its also worth pointing out that Cintron hit Jesse Feliciano with his best punches and he took shot after shot for 10 rounds, albeit he did get stopped in the end, however i thought he kind of showed Cintron was not such a big puncher when you push him back.

    1. I thought that Cintron deserved the fight based on the cards.
    2. Cintron was winning by 1 round at best.
    3. Williams had just switched into 2nd gear and already Cintron was at the end of his wits, had the fight gone much longer it would have turned into a rout.

This is exactly why you can't go to the scorecards after 3 rounds!!!

Maybe Cintron was paid to take a dive. I think he took it too literal.

Williams wins the rematch by way of Cintron walking to the ring and slipping on spilt beer, claiming a broken leg.

Congrats on and becoming the first brainless moron to add nothing but an insult to the thread. So sad how many of you there seem to be on this otherwise excellent forum. :verysad

Agreed 100%. He WAS winning. That judge should have his license revoked. Period.

swedeone I am calling a spade a spade. Your a total moron. This is the 3rd thread you have started about Cintron. I don't give a fcuk if he was winning or not. There was only 3 rounds gone so its immaterial. The guy fcuking jumped and if your too blind or ******ed to see that then thats your problem. Just STOP with all the Cintron sh!t
