On The Ropes Radio returns on June 15th with host Jenna J a.k.a. Boxing Girl, along with co-hosts Mighty Mark Messer, Nick "Ya Boy NeXt" Powers and special weekly guest Rumsfeld.
Recapping the past weekend's action packed Welterweight title fight between Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey, we will discuss the close decision, possible opponents for both men, and the possible rematch mentioned by Clottey in the post-fight interview. In addition, we will review Robert Guerrero's appearance on Friday Night Fights, and preview next week's FNF bout featuring Delray "The Rainmaker" Raines vs. Dawson.
Also, we will cover the major news over the weekend that Floyd Mayweather, Jr.'s fight against Juan Manuel Marquez, scheduled for July 18th, will now be postponed due to a rib injury suffered by Mayweather in training.
We will also preview this upcoming weekend's Heavyweight "unification" fight between Wladimir Klitschko and late replacement for David Haye, Ruslan Chagaev. Since our last show, the WBA has come out with the decision that Nikolay Valuev is the "real" WBZ Heavyweight Champion, once again preventing a unification and quest for a true, undisputed Heavyweight Champion.

Ya this is the second time we have had him on the show and he always has interesting things to say about his thoughts on the sport, so hopefully he can give us some great one liners like he did last time.

 

nope, It's me, Messer, and Nick Powers....but he's free to call to talk to Nate.....also hopefully Rumsfeld and Freddywalk will have the time to call in to.

 

His girl was about to give birth...so I dont think that show was really on his mind...but taylor has a lot going on in his life now...but if he has the time to call in and talk to Nate I'd like to hear from him.
