On the scales: 1st impressions count?

I was w,aiting in line to have my medical one night and my opponent was a couple of places behind.
I took my plate (2 false teeth) out and smiled at him, a few minutes later my trainer said he wouldn't fight so I had to fight somebody else and i got beaten.
The lad who I should've boxed won a Commonwealth title in the pro ranks a few years later.

Blaine logsdon.I've just checked and he didn't win the Commonwealth Title but he did fight for the British title.
I wouldn't mind but I'd have been giving about 7 or 8 pounds away.he had a body builders build and didn't look very tall
