Coming in at a 3/1 underdog and considered to be at the end of his career Bernard Hopkins stepped up to face WBA MW champion Felix Trinidad who had stopped William Joppy in 5 rounds in his previous fight to become world champion. The following is a true story of how one man made a whole nation take a knee :deal [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygfqXj9pvGA[/ame]
Man, this is one of all time favorite performances by any fighters...The way Bhop broke down Tito was a thing of beauty...A materpiece!!:good
TBH, I never understood why BH was an underdog in this fight. FT was struggling with Vargas at JMW and had problems outboxing DLH at WW.
Wow so he beat a career welter. I won't even get into how he dipped on the 9/11 tribute to go back to philly while tito who isn't even american worked all night clearing rubble
Trinidad was completely outclassed. It wasn't really a size thing. Even when Hopkins stood in front of him Trinidad was out fought.
