    As recently as 2 years ago Kaddour was plotting a comeback and specifically targeting a Smith rematch. Unsurprising that his pleas fell on deaf ears, though. Smith has consistently been getting big paydays since linking up with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and small-fry Kaddour would represent a major dip in his usual cashflow. It would really only appeal to niche old school boxing nerds (and not even all of us, at that; many find Smith unwatchable although IMO he's capable of being in a good fight depending on the dance partner) and nostalgic fans of The Contender.
