I remember a specific poster who’s handle was JMM’sPee and he had a
picture of JMM drinking pee. Big time JMM hater. I also remember he posted a thread in the lounge, Pre the forum changes, about not washing his hands after peeing and I called him out on his hypocrisy. I can’t find him in the search function, but he’s not around anymore.

I was just remembering my experience watching the fight.

I was watching it with family, casual fight fans. One cousin was betting on Pacquiao. His sibling asked me who I was rooting for and I said Marquez because I felt he got robbed the last fight, but I said it could go either way. My cousin was sure Pacquiao was going to win. It was funny watching my cousins reactions throughout the fight. When it ended he acted just like Barrera.

A Marquez KO of Pacquiao in thet form that happened cemented him as the best Mexican fighter of his era, thats not something MAB wanted to happen. The same with Morales as his recent statements and his derogatory view of Marquez tells me he wanted to be the only Mexican to officially beat Pacquiao.
MAB being part of the commentating crew was in pure shock when the KO came, but it was the type of shock that was telling who he was rooting for.
MAB had no idea the cameras were on him at that point, but I'm glad they were so fans could see his true colors.

If Pacquiao had been more aggresive vs Mayweather who's to say Pacquiao would'nt have run into a shot like Hatton did vs Mayweather?

Personally I think any version of Pacquiao loses to a defensive disrupter like Mayweather.
I think Pacquiao's best chance to have beaten Mayweather would have been at 130 lbs, the higher in weight Pacquiao's chances decrease imo because Mayweather is naturally the bigger fighter and physically stronger than Pacquiao. At 130 lbs the strenghth advantage is'nt as big.
I felt that way about Pacquiao vs Marquez, the higher in weight they fought, Marquez to me looked and was stronger physically.

    JMM timed that perfectly.

He tried a few times earlier but Pac was just out of range. Then Pac got too comfortable and didnt change his rythm and JMM nailed him.

Amazingly under rated fighter and very good ring IQ.

To this day, sorry Wilder for the copy right infringement, one of the most brutal KOs.
Perfect timing on the unseen punch will put anyone to bed.
