On this day in 1973 Ken Norton became the second man to defeat Muhammad Ali.

I remember seeing it live on ABC's Wide World Of Sports, a friend called after the fight to get my goad, I told he could kiss where the sun never shines, we laughed about it later. I was sure surprised as many were.
