    Cruelly for Hagler, Harry Gibbs -the original judge Hagler’s camp had insisted be replaced- watched the fight at home and scored the fight for Hagler. Had they not objected and had Gibbs scored the fight the same way from ringside, Hagler would have claimed a split decision victory.
