So we should only consider what you deem as important to be important, got it. I can only speak for myself but I rate him because I know a great fighter when I see one. He unified an entire division, been a champion in 3 divisions, and has shown a vast array of skills and attributes in route to achieving those accolades. The diversity of his skill set, the ability to fight different fighters in different ways and still dominate, demonstrates his class. Respect it or not, he’s one of the best fighters in the world today, as rated by anyone who knows anything about boxing.

Eye test mostly I guess. He has a lot of decent fighters on his record. Postol is certainly a good win, though a little tarnished retrospectively as he looked terrible in the fight back against I think that Uzbek dude. He put in a good performance against Taylor though still ultimately lost the fight. Outside of that, like I said there's a lot of decent guys and none of them have really been competitive with him. But you can see Crawford's skill set easily enough, which is why he;s ranked so highly. I wouldn't have him as my #1 P4P but he has a right to be in the conversation at least.

Until he gets a Spence fight he won't have a definitive win on his record. He reminds me of GGG in some ways actually. Spent a long time building up a decent record against solid but not great fighters, looking excellent in doing so. I hope he gets the Spence fight real soon. Or at least let him light up Danny Garcia, who I don't think is a world class Welterweight but is certainly a good one.Even the Pac fight is cool although I think he'll be the guy that makes Pac look old, which will sadly diminish the value of that win (perhaps rightly, perhaps not).

Inoue record is better than Crawford's Just take the speed Inoue done 3 divisions & how many fights.
Crawford took 21 fights before his first world belt Inoue took only 6 fights.
World belt fights Crawford & Inoue have had about the same think it's one in fav of Crawford.
Inoue has a better KO% than Crawford & he last faced Khan.

Crawford's best wins aren't even close to Lomas. And obviously he'd beat them, he's a welterweight

Maybe the reason his career has "stalled out" is because the alleged tough guys won't fight him

The difference is that Inoue actually had a promoter and came into the sport with those opportunities to win a belt. Crawford did not even have a promoter for his first 15 fights and he had to go fight as a sparring partner just to get "discovered." So how long it took to win a belt is really a misleading fact. Loma got a belt in two fights but how many people even get that opportunity?

It's the "Too good for his own good" problem really talented fighters have. Floyd, Roy Jones Jr, Pernell Whitaker, Lomachenko, etc all have/had it. They make top fighters look like bums, so people say they fight bums. It's not until they retire that people realize just how good they were.

He has by far the most overrated resume out of any p4p figher, his best wins are Gamboa, washed up Khan and the bum Horn, Postol was a solid win as well but cmon.
However, just by watching Crawford you can tell he is a special boxer, his resume isn't incredible but he looks the part.
    Compare him to Loma
Arguably, Campbell, Linares, GRJ, Rigo and Walters are better wins than anything Crawford has got on his resume, lets remember Crawford at lower weights was fighting much smaller men, look at how Loma dominated a much smaller rigo who was ranked number 6 p4p when they fought and yet everyone raved about Crawford for beating smaller men but when Loma fights a smaller guy he gets hated on.

Of course they are, you’ve just been sucked into the hype. Neither has a signature win, but Loma has looked a lot more vulnerable than Crawford against similar level opposition.
